My devotion to Ethereum has nothing to do with tribalism and religiosity (although I am religiously bullish on ETH). It has to do with the fact that it is the most well positioned asset to underpin the future of the blockchain industry.

Unfortunately the facts here are incorrect I see ppl make this mistake so often about orderbooks vs AMMs. The reason we see AMMs onchain and CLOBs offchain is not because of throughput, it’s because of onchain tx fees.

tech bros don't make "mistakes" in messaging like this, not all at once pretty clear they are speaking up now to set the tone for the entire Trump admin before he even enters office they're betting Trump can't afford / won't want to defy them, and they're probably right

Another thing to consider is that not all apps have the same CR needs It might be perfectly fine for social app to have lower CR assurances than finance app It’s not that the Ethereum community overestimates what one L2 can do, it’s that they understand what a variety of L2s

To me the value came from fees being paid ito eth holders - regardless in what form. However, there is still a large “ETH is money“ fraction and that just becomes more and more implausible if ETH is NOT EVEN used to pay for gas.

My thesis for the Cosmos Hub is simple, and it's spelled out very simply in the original Cosmos whitepaper: Make the Hub a Hub. Strong Hub = Strong Cosmos. I will be personally leading the Cosmos Hub team at the new Interchain to make this happen.

Neobanks will launch on Ethereum. The cost to create onchain banks are dramatically lower than their fintech counter-part. Projects like Aave, Morpho and Moonwell are already changing the financial landscape. Ethereum is the new financial system.

I've been saying that ETH ETF flows will surprise a lot of people. ETH is clearly seen as more interesting than BTC in TradFi. Exactly for the same reason they prefer Nasdaq over Gold. Growth is the base of value creation, ETH is the asset that represents crypto's growth.
