Leveraging x402 on Bankl. We'll be building infrastructure for deploying facilitator services similar to @coinbase CDP. As a @base L2, we can make it easier for financial institutions to leverage x402 to run their own crypto payments services or mediate, just like they do with PoS networks.

Commodities markets increasingly rely on crypto for transaction clearing, but trust gaps enable middlemen to flourish. Deeper integration between crypto infrastructure and traditional banking could eliminate these intermediaries, reducing costs and increasing efficiency.

Our model is based on each bankl appchain wrapping USDL, a canonical stable coin issued by Bankl’s Anchor Chain. USDL will also be the gas token for all appchains.

Of course, Bankl will support Pectra (EIP-7702) from day one!
