still though my favorite multi-client pill is that a single codebase can disagree with itself (it's 2024, tons of non-determinstic bug classes!) so no matter what, each instance is its own client because the universe has entropy that determines output, and you must deal with it

Seeing some folk calling this story a lie now. But if new Naughty Dog, Okami, Mafia, Onimusha, Turok, Virtua Fighter, Borderlands, Hazelight, Fumito Ueda, Elden Ring and The Witcher doesn't do it for you, I don't think your taste means the show was lacking in big announcements.
