Those are the four forces on the world as I see them. The Internet, Indians, and China are rising. DC is falling. And America is split between the American Network (rising with the Internet) and the American State (falling with DC).

So where are we going to after this? 
And do american have choice other than crypto for the debt.
And is it real they can do it with crypto?

The best American leaders are aligned with the Internet, with the rising network. The worst are those aligned with DC, with the failing state.

The greater their reliance on the global network, the more effective they are. The greater their reliance on the nation state, the less effective they are.

It’s bankrupt.

The state is making $2-4T a year with $175T in debt. So it’s not actually a rich country. It’s like a guy playing fake rich by maxing out his credit cards.

What would you consider the solution to pivot out of this? Assuming it is inevitable that america enters a default crisis, if you had control of the levers of action, what would be the next move?

What factors make you believe the american state is falling?

how broadly does "internet" or "internet values" encompass technology as a whole?

does "internet" alignment require openness and permission-less so that certain tech is necessarily excluded?

I agree with the 3 takes except with China. In what metrics is China going up📈?

China's working population is declining. Their GDP per capita is also not growing as fast. Taiwan, for example, has 3 to 4 times faster grow compared to China.

On top of that, China debt to GDP is pretty high overall. Their real estate that is over collateralized and represents a big percentage of their GDP

And what industry of the future is China leading? 

Crypto is banned. There is no crypto project that I can recall that is based in China.

AI is mostly led by Western companies: Mistral, OpenAI, Meta, Anthropic...

Space is done by the west: SpaceX, Varda, RocketLab

Autonomous and Robotics is based in the US: Tesla, Rivian and Waymo. The only player that they have here is Baidu.

They sell commoditized electric cars. But they also sell commoditized smartphones. Most of the profits still go to either Apple or Samsung. 

So in what way is China the future?

The rise of China feels overstated. Are they not facing a RE crisis and a falling yen?

Yellen visited them twice last month to maybe strike a deal on some bonds.

The dollar is still by far the currency most countries hold even if they transact in other currencies like what Brics is attempting.

American is living by debt… it’s worrisome
