Crypto has finally crossed a chasm. It’s so easy to set up Phantom Wallet to receive USDC-SOL that kids can use it to instantly accept payments at their lemonade stand. There are still some quirks like requiring SOL to send. But this is >10000X faster than incorporating to get a bank account. Seconds, not days.

Instant bank accounts mean instant companies. Or at least the barebones of them. Yes, we’ll need to pull all the accounting onchain too. And make it interface with pro-crypto governments that have DAO laws. But it’s now as easy to get paid digitally as it is to set up a site. As easy as accepting cash. Big step.

Ppl always saying how not-accessible crypto UX is - this is boomer cope To a kid, the Banking UX (even if you exclude setup) is far worse. Where boomer sees scary long random string, zoomer sees convenient unique string i.e. raw crypto addresses are a UX feature not a bug. DNS better but not needed for this to hold
