Another popular style of painting is line drawing or scribble painting.  The origin of this style of painting goes back to the 17th century and Germany.
 The development and progress of this style of painting has coincided with the emergence of the surrealist art movement.
 In the scribble style, the painter draws his painting by drawing a series of quick lines without a pattern.  Combining simple and irregular lines together creates an attractive effect.
