#engcaster, assuming you had no special constraints beyond meeting a baseline level of quality, how quickly could you actually rebuild the bridge? assume the goal is be long term reliable/no cut corners, but not cutting edge or anything, and we are still bound by things like supply chains, weather, materials, etc.

Bridge engineer here. I'm European though and don't have full picture of the local situation in the U.S.. The bridge itself (span, dimension) is not much of a technical challenge and could be done quite fast ("months not years"). What could be the most time consuming part is legal approval and bureaucracy.
