Why are Farcaster builders so optimistic when X, Y, and Z bad things exist? My brother, bad is the default. It’s entropy. Failure is the most likely outcome when building something new. If you’re not a definite optimist, you’ve got no chance of making it happen. Even if you’re a rational person, you have to be willing to suspend disbelief just enough to make the bet despite all the bad. And then it’s just week-by-week progress, trying not to die (mostly figuratively). For years.
