What are the pros and cons of building on Arbitrum versus Optimism and the OP stack?

Things I care about:

- adoption, measured in txns/day
- cost 
- EVM compatibility

I am building on optimism, but arbitrum is delivering better right now. Optimism has quite to do some catch up, but hopefully doing it the right way will pay out in the long run.
