Yeah but Andreessen also wrote this https://a16z.com/the-techno-optimist-manifesto/ and it was picked apart by the entire space, I don‘t know anyone who actually endorses it today. So how come people say Vitalik has made a mistake that only Andreessen sees as one. What‘s wrong about giving money to decels?

for the record, I still stand by andreesen's piece idk what the group which vitalik funded exactly does but generally i think it's cool to fund ai safety comps who actually want to do the work of building better models in whatever safe way they want (anthropic?) instead of trying to stop others from doing things
