In Europe, that model doesn't work, which is why you need an attack to give you an edge because the number of teams you're expected to win against are little so you need an attacker to make the difference, this is why pep failed in Europe with city for a long time.
People saying arsenal needs an striker to win premier league are actually not wrong but it's half truth, livpool are top of the league with Diaz/gakpo as 9.
What arsenal need is a 4th attacker, a through no10 that can make the difference in the final 3rd, a kdb/Bruno type of attacker that can punish you in transition and in a low block, and with 15g/a in them.
With this, martinelli will enjoy and function more than just width holder.
Priority for arsenal
- No 10 (Xavi/wirtz/baena)
- with saka injured, we need a creator on the wing (mbeumo, semenyo)
