Top consulting companies always boast they're "cutting-edge." But they - by definition - can't be. That's because they mainly work with BigCorps. And BigCorps aren't interested in cutting-edge tech since it's not reliable enough.

it's telling that they can't switch to the latest stack because then they have to process decades old data and deal with hundred more "issues" like adaptability
