disagree. if i launch a coin that goes to 1m and then back to zero and make money off the LP fees, that's the opposite of incentive alignment, i profited from volatility while the people holding my coin lost money

you don't get to decide for the market, the market decides for you — you always have an option to enter, exit, enter, especially when the creator has no upper hand to rug and there is no dev unlike pumpdotfun where conviction is the last thing that crosses your mind

i meant to add another perspective to what you said from how i see it

and i don't see it as coin creator is profiting off the holders, otherwise there's no incentive for a creator to launch a coin using clanker

Not following? I’m not criticizing the model, I’m just saying it’s objectively not incentive alignment between coin creator and holders. If the coin creator can profit at the expense of the holder base, incentives aren’t aligned. 

which is fine! The clanker model is great and perhaps better for all parties than any existing alternatives out there. just not incentive alignment.
