Totally unrelated, I was talking about you to a student at my schools she got very excited. She is on the track team. She is wondering if you have any training advice for her.

Brilliant! She does some short distance races and long jump but I will find out specifically which ones. She’s in 8th grade and will be headed off to High School next year. The middle School trains for track at the high school already so I don’t see them practice.

oh thats nice and no worries! do you know what event she does? as advice for sprints vs long/middle distance etc is different
