That's close to a half-marathon distance. My favorite distance to run. Long enough to be challenging. Short enough that it doesn't destroy my body for days after.

I have run and completed 7 marathons including the Boston Marathon. I qualified for Boston when I was 42. Younger and faster than I am now. 

Thought about running an ultra. Instead I have settled for half marathons and triathlons.

What is the longest distance you have run? I have never run more than a half marathon☺️
