11-11-2024 👯♀️ There were so many great events today like Shefi, frENS day, and Dunecon. I’m personally most excited about the social/consumer applications building onchain as opposed to the financial ones. @jessepollak made a great point in his talk at frENS day that in western countries with existing p2p payment infrastructure, it will take several decades to flip usage of financial applications to onchain apps. Whereas social or other unique primitives enabled by crypto will bring users onchain faster because there is less of a substitute. The next billion users are 1 good application away so keep building 🥂
