Did I really just watch a 3 hour movie on the Manhattan project that did NOT include the Demon core story, Feynman lock-picking hijinks or the actual bombings? Instead we get one full hour of Oppenheimer renovating his passport or whatever. Glad I picked Barbie at the theaters.

One of the biggest criticisms I hear about ENS governance is that it’s always the same people voting for themselves. A real conversation I had: - ..and do you think Bitcoin can replace gold? - Well, what’s gold for? Have you ever used it to buy anything? - No. But it’s an investment, something you should put as a small percentage of a diversified portfolio. - Then Bitcoin has already replaced gold for that.

Bluesky is federating the right way. Mastodon is basically little social sites reading each others rss feed, while Bluesky is lead by a badass former zcash engineer. So 8years ago I released a test coin which is now becoming a valuable token. Market cap is still something like 100k, liquidity is almost nada but the community is nice. I own a large bit of it.
