The Optimism Network is one of the second layer solutions to solve scalability problems in the Ethereum network. Using Optimistic Rollups technology, this network puts a large amount of transaction data into processable categories. In other words, transactions are executed on the Optimism network, but transaction data is transferred to the Ethereum main network to be validated. The ultimate goal of this solution is to reduce the cost of transactions and increase their speed. In this way, the main network traffic is reduced and at the same time, the security of the network is maintained. Optimism network is managed by its namesake token or OP for short. This solution is known as one of the most significant Ethereum layer 2 scaling solutions
