we built a tent with my kid in his room and i promised to sleep in it with him bad decisions have been made 🙂↔️ my back hurts, woke up at 4, wouldn't fall asleep anymore and ruminated on all of my bad decisions feeling refreshed

Yes but lifelong core memories for him, whereas you’ll have forgotten about your bad back within a week
