A quick update as to the donations that came in from the Dencun POAP. The funds in the L1 address (6.8E and rising) will be transferred to the pool before the end of the reward cycle (~48 hrs). Solo stakers still have time to join Smoothly and get a share of these donations.

Congrats @kody.eth! I have a few questions: 1/ Wen /smoothly channel for those who dislike Discord with a passion? 2/ Will there be a POAP for 100 validators in the pool? 3/ How do you think can we get more airdrops/protocols to donate to the pool and incentivize/reward solo staking?

Thanks! 1. How about now? /smoothly 2. There should be, but trying to get there first! 3. The biggest thing we can do imo is to spread awareness as to how valuable solo stakers are to the health of the network in terms of decentralization and censorship resistance. Create a solo stakers alliance?

Thanks for the channel! That was fast Cc:ing @nixo (/eth-staker host) for item 3. The tricky part is to avoid doxxing solo stakers while bringing them together. At the same time we need to engage with projects that could reward and incentivize solo stakers via Smoothly

Yea absolutely. I’m currently focused on the public goods funding options, but another path is to have protocols contribute to the pool like they do to protocol guild. As far as doxxing, imo there’s so much value in having a unified voice that it’s worth sacrificing some privacy, maybe there’s a middle ground.
