If you're a "don't tread on me" (aka "no step on snek") person, I think you have to morally barbell it with "no step on snel" Ie. in addition to being fiercely independent and not wanting others to trespass your boundaries, you also ought to be mindful and conscious to not step on fragile creatures (respect yin)

Unfortunately my empirical observations of the first group is that it doesn’t overlap much with the second group
