genuine question: why do some crypto founders choose to make it into a big PR dunk when they decide to switch chains? most criticism re: chains is legit, but the convo often devolves into tribalism (not so productive) and i end up learning nada about the founder's actual product lol

Uninformed guess: same reason people badmouth their former employer. Short-sighted view, immaturity, ego getting in the way, and lack of life experience to understand that burning bridges has no upside, especially in a small industry. It's a move that loses support from proponents of the old chain, and it only gains arms-length and transactional support from the new chain, so even from a marketing standpoint it's not the smart play they think it is. But when a founder leaves Ethereum to go to Cosmos/SQLana, the average IQ of both chains increases, so 🤷‍♂️
