Earned my PPL in 2019 thinking I’d be a private pilot and fly for fun for the rest of my days. 

Opportunity struck last year when I was offered a position running a flight school & skydive startup, and I haven’t looked back. 

Finishing up IFR and onward to commercial. 

Whats your 🛩️ story?

Got mine in 2013. Had received my scuba instructor rating from PADI the previous year and was looking for another challenge. I was working with aviation clients anyway so I felt it was fitting to do the PPL

I ended up moving, and where I live now it’s just too expensive and impractical.

Plus with a kid I’m a little more cautious — flying just enough to build confidence but not enough to be really proficient puts you into that danger zone of overestimating your abilities
