It’s just a tool that many if not most recruiters and headhunters use nowadays to build an initial pipeline of candidates.

So to that extent, it’s useful, but I wouldn’t use it for anything more than a way to showcase your CV / profile / experience. You can ignore the feed entirely and never post to it.
