This is a very good take. I’ve neglected Solana and focused on ETH and Base because I love the builder vibes and the mentality of most of the people I’ve encountered. Every time I’ve bridged to Solana I’ve lost money. Everything I bought was rugged, NFTs, tokens, the people I met were grifters and short term minded. This has just been my anecdotal experience.

The public opinion pendulum will eventually swing back from this new aggressively scammy meta, and once it does, we may just be glad that ETH wasn’t in the spotlight as the conduit for large-scale grifts (as @tldr astutely pointed out)
