Since Spam labels are now public, I’ve spent some time looking at things these accounts have in common vs accounts that don’t get labeled and this is my initial advice for people who’ve been labeled. 

1. STOP sharing frames. If you didn’t build it, don’t share it. 
2. Stop recasting. Instead, quote cast and spell out why you are sharing it. What makes this worthy of being shared?
3. Ensure 80% of your timeline is original content. Don’t steal it from the web, make something unique and genuine. It better to not cast at all than to cast slop. 
4. Only reply to people in channels. If someone casts to their home feed and doesn’t follow you, don’t comment. 
5. Stop tagging people. They don’t get notified of the tags anyway. It’s pointless to tag them.

6. consider deleting your account. 

Basically, if you've been labeled, then you should not use any of the functionalities of this app / space.

Bunch of nonsense. Do your job right and stop looking for shortcuts (i.e spam detection algos, mass-bans etc.)

I updated this article since @v gave some public feedback. I don't know the secrets to the Warpcast Algo, but I spend a lot of time looking at  users with Spam Labels and users who are in the Top 100 on every public dataset we have and especially the Warpcast Rewards Leaderboard to look for behavioral patterns.  I implore you do the same. As more developers incorporate these labels into their own algorithms, they are going to become even more important. You MUST avoid a Spam Label at all costs!

Hey there. Yes, i've read that too. I hope you know my post is not targeting you or written with any bad intention. It's just that labeled users stand no chance at recovering from this. And it's also counter-intuitive to not use any (or most) of the main app functionalities (recast, reply, etc)

That’s the exact issue. You have to be overly cautious not to trigger than spam filter and clearly the majority of people are triggering it without intending to.
