I'm going to mute all these accounts that are being cross-posted from X to here. A few months ago, I said these cross-posting apps are no bueno, and I had a few who disagreed, but now I get to say...I told you so. 🤣 Sounds good on paper, but in reality, it doesn't work. It's like getting a hologram of a person that only works unidirectionally. I get that the idea is that the hope is the accounts will come back here because they have notifications/things to reply to, but it rarely works out like that. In fact, I'd say at least half either uninstalled the app or aren't logged in.
