I told people clean energy wouldnβt take a backseat under Trump. Chris Wright is a board member for $OKLO, a Sam Altman nuclear energy company. https://www.cnbc.com/2024/11/18/liberty-energy-stock-jumps-after-trump-picks-ceo-chris-wright-as-energy-secretary.html?__source=iosappshare%7Ccom.apple.UIKit.activity.CopyToPasteboard

Liberty Energy fracks 20% of the onshore wells nationally. The $3 billion company is involved in nearly 10% of the United States' total energy production, according to Wright. The fact that he is on the board for a nuclear company is probably a minor detail here. I do believe new nuclear plants are the best way to bridge us from fossil fuels to renewables, but this guy is a huge enemy of everything Biden did to mitigate climate change. He is the type of person I would expect Trump to pick for this position and will likely be working closely with Secretary of Interior Burgham to "drill, baby, drill" on federal lands as much as possible.

I expect nuclear energy, especially next to Sam Altman & following Googleβs recent investment in the sector, to be nice af.

Certainly nuclear technology and plant design has come a long way in the last 30 years while many places were not building new plants
