One of the best films I've seen recently is a French sci fi romantic drama called "The Beast" (or "La Bête"). 

*no spoilers ahead*
It's 2044 and artificial intelligence has taken over most of the jobs. Humans are left with very few options, one of which is to have one's DNA purified in order to get a decent job. The main character decides to do just that 😅
But is it as simple as it seems? What if you come across something deep inside yourself that's unbearable? 

I love how the film explores the topics of (oh so near) future, new technologies, psychological traumas, past lives and what it's like to be a human being.
