why are we, as purple app users, missing out on all the big CT trends? not only that, but missing out on massive meta shifts that are happening on OUR VERY OWN CHAIN how could this be? yeah, listen, i donāt know how many times i can say this: there are 5k of usāit has nothing to do with the tech, it has nothing to do with cultureāit has everything to do with the fact that there are 5k of usā¦ this a unicorn app & there are 5k of usā¦ more than 2 years inā¦ and there are 5k of usāmade even worse now given the fc top funnel thesis is materializing with the frames upgrade culture? culture was the <20k FIDs acting wildly elitist towards newcomers all through february & march culture was shunning degen because it spammed your precious 5k user feedāthe only project that had sustainably brought in more users culture was ignoring big CT accounts that came here because ānew giants would riseā culture was letting bots dilute anything & everything meaningful, including engagement itself

hmm, hard truth. i love people who are critical because I have a hard time doing so. i just created an X account last month just so i can support frens from FC on X and i quickly noticed how SO much more is happening over there in the crypto space. i never knew CT until now, and i get how it is what it is. i joined FC in March so I can confirm that those accounts were different back then. But i do think it was because of labels such as power badges, spam, shadowban, etc that fueled the lack of interaction with newcomers. once the PBs were removed, it was a game changer. there were people i would engage with that would never respond to me, and now they are following me. however, there were also some who responded and followed me regardless of those labels - absolute legends! it looks like bots/farmers are not easy to handle in general but whatever was done recently, has also been a game changer. i don't see much of it at all compared to before.

i think we squashed some crucial points that were really hurting us but now it's time to focus on growth as you said because time is ticking. with how fast things are being built in this space, we don't want to lose people to the "grass is greener on the other side" situation. thanks for the informative cast!
