GM SuperRare A post here to show the benefits of aperture (size of optics) in astro. Both these images contain similar volume of data The top is captured with a small scope with a 51mm diameter lens The bottom with a Newtonian reflector with a 150mm diameter mirror Greater aperture gives greater details.
