This literally feels like the “right click save” of minting. 

As an artist, I don’t want people minting my artwork that I share as a cast.

This should be opt-in.

And before anyone says it, just because someone can, doesn’t mean they should, or that you should make it easier for them to.

please make this action require an opt-in and approval by the original creator (i.e. original caster).

i do not want everything and anything i share here to be instantly mintable by anyone.

i appreciate the concept, tho it needs some rails to empower creator sovereignty. creator rights must be respected.

It’s definitely sparked some discussion around the topic and I’m totally open to hearing everyone’s perspective.
In a world where everything is onchain, people sharing others work onchain can be perceived differently, it’s onchain curation, not claiming to be original. It’s an onchain repost/share.
