Ripple plans to launch a new stablecoin called RLUSD, backed by the US dollar, tomorrow. The RLUSD stablecoin will be issued on both the Ethereum and XRP Ledger blockchains and will initially be available on select global exchanges. There are plans to expand to additional platforms in the coming weeks. The company will employ an independent auditing firm to create certificates of RLUSD reserve assets, which it will then issue on a monthly basis.
