From my limited knowledge of culinary arts, fish and cheese just don’t go together. 
And I personally avoid Philadelphia cream cheese ever since I had in the fridge for several months, and it looked like new….and that’s not normal for food 🤷‍♀️

in the meantime, i began to wonder why not. i asked google, he didn’t know. is this just some kind of rule or also personal taste?

i've never heard of such a thing. 

the fish is really very tasty on its own. but i like to do it the way it's tasty for me. no pretensions to haute cuisine, just for pleasure 😌
