farcaster is a super hard sell these days because new users get 0 visibility and don't necessarily find the content very interesting hope to see warpcast innovate on surfacing casts from new users and users that haven't posted for a while

some of these people should try running a new account anonymously from 0 followers up as a test for new user experience - maybe then the flaws with the power badge system will be more apparent 🙃

It me! I started a new account non-anonymously, with intense cross-posting + interactions + mentions. A super hard long journey, no wonder ppl with big accounts elsewhere give up. TikTok, 小红书, even YouTube do a much better job, at multiple magnitudes of scale, of surfacing and encouraging new accounts

Decentralized social network is hard to prevent spammer, the cost of creating a new account is so low. Farcaster community is finding the way to balance that.
