I thought it would enable a user option to credibly reveal their identity, but kinda feel like a one-way hash is enough for that.

Am not FUDding, I hold enough $ANON to really be happy if this becomes the first at-scale use case of user-accessible zk tech

because people like putting zk everywhere, when you're a hammer all problems look like nails

Vitalik had a piece a while back on how airdrops could be made "zk" without zk, this can probably be applied to casting too
