the 10k cap is a value transfer to people with less degen. Anyone who locks amounts beyond the minimum required for a max allocation, pursues "Degen communism" by:
- taking supply out of the market in a rigid, transparent way and relatively safe way (less steep cliffs)
- raises the cost for value extractoooors which leads to marginally less value extractooooring

I think this is on net good for the poooooooor.

I think I see your point and concern.

But it's for one season, locked for 3 months; most likely ppl will top up and extend the locks. Meanwhile, ppl can't maintain their cast streaks for >5 days fr. The disastrous outcome seems quite far, whereas the states of the world that are better than today's appear to get closer with this mechanism.

I don't think this is the final state, and also, don't believe inequality needs to be addressed within every mechanism.

More importantly, you can squeeze CME copper or COMEX orange juice futures, but you can't squeeze $degen tip allocations. If it's not valuable to participate, ppl can always move en masse to more appealing Ham or Enjoy or Higher or Farther or Moxie née NAT (which used to be somewhat pinned to $degen, not sure if it has become more of a floating token now??)
