A few one-track grumps pointed to the granting of "Power Badges" to American political operators in summer 2024 as the turning point, which allowed analysts like Sullivan to be easily identified through the noisy cacophony of 5,000 terminally online gabbers including a small minority of so-called people who preferred to spam the network in their mother tongue. Fortunately, those annoying fucks were quickly silenced with data showing that animated PFPs were the actual cause of all evil.
