okee /powermonday i am officially recharged and back in biz ⚡ ⚡
it was an interesting week for sure. seeing the lil purple badge disappear last week was unexpected. but the show of support from everyone was even more unexpected. it was...very kind, and i appreciate you all very much.
the #s were definitely not what i expected. my engagement didn't plummet, it went UP. my rank didn't go down, it went UP. no one unfollowed me, at least not anyone i converse with. but what to make of it all?
connections are made in the replies, not the feeds, and genuine engagement is more important than any badge. and that's true whether you're the caster or replyor. imo, most people live in their home feed and notifs, not channels where you're most buried without a badge. THAT is where you need to get. find ways to get follows and notifs bc those are the frens that stick around even w/o a badge.
tl/dr - send good replies, make frens, be kind. you never know when you'll need some kindness in return. thank you all <3 19 replies
