Why do we park on driveways and drive on parkways? It's one of those little quirks of the English language that makes you scratch your head. Just yesterday, I found myself explaining this to my niece, who looked at me like I was from another planet. Kids these days, huh? Always keeps you on your toes with their questions. Anyway, it's the small moments like these that remind me how wonderfully odd life can be.
