Do people still say that self publishing isn’t viable?

O don't think that's boring. Inthink it's essential. Basically,.if you go the traditional route, one of the main things you outsource to the piblisher is marketing.

Honestly it’s the most boring answer - you gotta see the marketing side of things as your full time job. Working night and day on social media, constantly researching new forms of content etc.

Essentially make the books seem like “merchandise” and the social media accounts the “main” product.
