I am seriously thinking about learning to code and I need some advice. What would be the best language to learn? Is there a way to learn it on my own using online resources? Is there an app for that? How long does it take to learn from zero to something useful?

I have a bit of a rusty background in coding, so I'm now doing TypeScript, which seems to be the go-to language for frames on farcaster. I am taking a course on codecademy, and it works for me. It's not that hard, more like solving a good puzzle. I think you need to have a grasp of data structures and of logic. That will bring you far. But with the current hype of vibe coding, you might as well grab a piece of code from somewhere, ask ChatGPT for the code of what you want to do and use that as legos for your app.

I think I have to do the basics first. I know a bit of html that doesn’t serve for anything. But at least I have an idea of how coding work. I’ll check code academy and see if they have a sort of introduction course. Thank you!
