Wow! Very cool place nearby. Is it a place where you can run?

Yes, the one with the Brazil-shaped route. A lap like that is about 1.5 K. You can also do a smaller lap of 1K. If I can manage more than 6 again, I will only use it as starting point. I don't really like running laps. Then I'll start in the park, go out through the neighbourhood towards the Seine, and run along that for a bit. There are several points where I can cut back to the park then, so I can ajust the length of the run accordingly.

I also don’t like to run laps. But the lap around this lake is beautiful. 🤩 
For more then 5-6k, it is better to find a longer way as you are saying. 
My lap here is 3k. But I am trying to expand the way, running through the neighborhood. So it is not so boring.
