does this ever work? The first paragraph of a newsletter entirely given to non information provided by the AI. Is there a demographic that goes oh great I'm engaged? For me it's always delete and move on. I presume this is the case for most people, but is it different with consumer, do they like this filler?

Interesting point. I don't know this organisation, but this paragraph seems completely meaningless. I sometimes, as a test, use AI to generate an intro for my newsletter, but it generally picks up very well on the content that I want to send out. It's more like a prefacing recap. 

I'm not against the use of AI, but, as with many other tools, you need to know the basics and when and how to use it.
