Hard to say. I think they did not assess the incoming rain correctly. Red Bull and Alpine seemed to expect the red flag. But if Colapinto hadn't crashed, it might have been a couple of laps behind the safety car and then it would have been the right call.

yeah I like the call at the time it was made, just turned out to be RED + crashes all after. Now Sainz also gone
