Use this simple trick to stop feeling overwhelmed! At Scaleap, we rely on the "Eisenhower matrix" to define our next steps Think of it as your personal task manager, dividing your tasks into four easy categories: 1- Urgent and Important: 🚀 These are your top priorities—tackle them first! 2- Important but Not Urgent: 📅 Schedule these tasks to ensure you make progress without the last-minute rush. 3- Urgent but Not Important: 🔄 If you can, delegate these tasks to lighten your load. 4- Neither Urgent not Important: ❌ Time to let these go! Eliminate distractions and focus on what truly matters. By using the Eisenhower Matrix, you’ll be able to focus on what really counts, boost your productivity, and reduce stress. Why not give it a try today? Your future self will thank you! 🌟 #scaleap_tips #scaleap

Imagine a world where the biggest Bitcoin exchange in the 2010s, Mt. Gox, stood as the shining beacon of cryptocurrency. ⬇️ That is, until a pesky little software glitch decided to crash the party. This error created transactions that were forever out of reach, costing the exchange up to $1.5 million in lost bitcoins—talk about a digital disaster! But wait, the drama doesn’t end there! In 2014, Mt. Gox faced its nemesis when hackers swooped in, making off with over 850,000 bitcoins. At the time, that was worth about half a billion dollars—yes, with a “b”! Although around 200,000 bitcoins were eventually recovered, the rest vanished into the digital ether, leaving the exchange in a tailspin. Ultimately, Mt. Gox was forced to declare bankruptcy, reminding us all that in the wild west of cryptocurrency, fortunes can flip faster than you can say “blockchain.”

The millennium bug, worth $100 billion Did you know that before the year 2000, computers did represent the year in dates with 2 digits? At the end of 1999, people feared that their systems crash with the arrival of the 2000's, which could not be represented with only 2 digits The US alone spent $100 billion to fix all its systems before the new year, and the contingency plans were successful, but left a scratch on the financials of every company, from banks to insurance, airlines and power suppliers #scaleap_story #scaleap

Tips time! When trying to launch an app, always think ahead 1- When you work with developers, always ask why they chose the technology they chose. You might not be a tech expert, but you will be able to assess if they chose it because it's best suited for you, or because they want to finish fast while discarding quality 2- Always plan for scalability. Developers might suggest different ways of doing things: a fast way and another that takes scalability into consideration. Depending on the subject, it is almost always better to choose the latter. You don't want your app to crash when it hits 10,000 users. And remember, starting right is insanely cheaper than adjusting later 3- IP rights: Many people fall into the trap of not preserving their IP rights. If you plan a project, always sign an IP contract that gives you ownership of the code. This prevents the developers from selling your code to other people, and hence your idea!

Did you know? The first computer virus was created by a student During the early versions of the internet, a Cornell university student wrote a software called "The worm". He managed to spread that software on tens of thousands of computers crashing them all, costing more than $10 million He was convicted and fined with just $10,000. He's now an MIT professor and his "Worm" is on a floppy disk in the Boston University Museum #scaleap_story #scaleap

The most expensive character in the world was a hyphen "-" In 1962, NASA launched a space probe, the "Mariner 1", which had a mission to fly next to Venus. Just 290 seconds after launch, it veered off course, and NASA had to send a command to make it destroy itself so that it would not land in a populated area Later on, an investigation revealed that a hyphen "-" was missing in the probe's software, which issued the wrong commands The cost of the project was a whopping $18 million (about $170 million in today's value) #scaleap_story #scaleap
