I haven't tried growing them myself for that reason, just don't think they'll fruit in my region.

I visited some pineapple plantations once in the South Pacific, and they are impressive operations. What I don't get is how you can sell them so cheaply where I live, if they take so long to fruit. I guess it's because they transport and store well.

I hold out hope that one day it will, maybe this summer 😋🤞 I need a fresh pineapple experience in my life 🤍
