Apparently my waifu went to the /allotment at 7:30AM this meowning, and harvested some of our asparagus (I was asleep after working 'til 3AM last night and had no idea!)

I processed and cooked them for dinner this evening.

No chemicals, 0 km carbon footprint, and 0 days from harvest to stomach.

... and dat is why we grow. 🤝

That's amazing! I don't cook often enough with lemon, but I'm gonna have to try your recipe!

Sometimes I think about grilling them instead of standard oven, maybe I'll try that too.

What heat setting + time do you do for the grill?

I grill, broil or sauté, and grill the lemon half. Make a garlic butter (vegan) and then squeeze the lemon on after 😋
