This matter is more related to Saudi Arabia than the United States. In fact, Saudi Arabia is playing between China and the U.S. to gain more concessions. Saudi will only abandon its China card if the U.S. provides undeniable benefits for the kingdom, which is entirely inconsistent with U.S. policies in the Middle East.
