This year was all about setting the foundation for the life I want. After wrapping up university, I set some clear goals for myself: make money and learn every survival skill that could actually set me up for success. In some areas, I smashed it made moves I’m genuinely proud of. I picked up skills that made me sharper, tougher, and a bit wiser. But in other aspects, I underperformed. Some plans didn’t hit, some efforts fell short, and honestly, I had to take a few losses on the chin. Still, the year taught me something important: progress isn’t always perfect, and success doesn’t happen overnight. I’m learning, I’m growing, and I know I’m on the right track. Next year? Bigger goals, better execution, and even more lessons to learn.

As I arrived at the North Pole, I noticed the elves were frantic. "The Magic Crystal, which powers Santa's sleigh, has gone missing!" they exclaimed. I began investigating and found a trail of sparkling snow leading to a hidden cave. Inside, I discovered a mischievous arctic fox, wearing a tiny Santa hat, holding the crystal. The fox confessed it wanted to help Santa by adding extra sparkle to the sleigh. I returned the crystal, and the elves rewarded the fox with a special helper role. Mystery solved!

The client had approved the demo, but something about the responsiveness didn’t sit right with me. After running a few tests, I found a glitch that broke the layout on smaller screens. Even though it was late, I stayed to rewrite the CSS. By the time I pushed the fix, the site worked seamlessly across all devices. That’s the job—finding and solving problems before users do.

I grew tired of the promises. The half-meant words, the plans that never happened, and the endless waiting for things to change. One day, as I sat in the café where we always said we’d meet but rarely did, something inside me shifted. I left the untouched coffee on the table, walked out, and turned my phone off. No more excuses, no more chasing after someone who only showed up when it was convenient. That evening, I went home and wrote a list of things I wanted for myself real things, solid things. And as I crossed out your name from my thoughts, I felt lighter. I chose consistency over chaos. And I never looked back.
